San Joan D’Alacant is a metropolis in the Alicante province in Spain. It is located in the southeast of Valencian region. It is considered to be the geographic centre of the Old Garden of Alicante. It is also called as San Juan De Alicante. The city shares its borders with Mutxamel, El Campello and Alicante. The city has two zones- the town of Sant Joan and Benimagrell. Both these are joined together via urban development. The city functions as a bedroom community. A portion of the campus of the University Miguel Hernandez of Elx/Elche also lies in the city.
