Tourtour is a town in the VAR region of the south-eastern France. It lies in the Province of Alpes Cote d’Azur department of France. The town covers a total geographic area of 28.69 sq.km. Tourtour is located at a height of 635 metre above the sea level. That is why, it is also known as “The Village in the Sky of Provence”. The famous hotel Bastide de Tourtour was filmed in the movie “Day of Jackal” and the 2010 ITV Monte Carlo TV shows. While touring the town, you will discover castles, vineyards, passageways, fountains and doorways. Pine and olive trees surround the town from all four sides. French is the official language spoken in the town.
