Pourrieres is a large village or town in the south-eastern France, located at a height of around 350m above sea level on a stony spur. It is located in the Var subdivision of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur district. The city overlooks the plain on the site of flow of River Arc. There are some typical ancient Provencal houses in the narrow streets of the village. The village has everything for comfortable stay of the local inhabitants as well the tourists coming from outside. There are also historical buildings and other numerous attractions that steal attention of the tourists coming from various parts of the globe. Since it is a large village therefore it covers considerable area of around 56.32sq.km for its expansion. The city is the hometown of Germain Nouveau, the French poet.
