Montmeyan is a municipality in the south-eastern France. It is located in the Var subdivision in the area of Provence-Alpes-Cote d’ Azur. It is an equipped medieval village that is located at a height of around 504m above sea level. It is situated on a rocky peninsula in the middle of the plain close to the gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte-Croix. There are narrow streets, arched pathways, stairs and sleepers arches in the village. It is spread over an area of 3943 hectares. The major source of economy in the village is agriculture, livestock and tourism.
