La Verdiere is a small village in the VAR department of the south-eastern France. It lies under the Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur region. The village is located on a hilltop and has a 10th century castle built around it. It covers a total land area of 68.16sq.km.The municipalities of Quinson, Taverns, Esparron and Ginasservis surround the village. A walk around the village will help you discover old houses, fountains, castles, streets and churches. The local people of the village generally speak French.
