La-Seyne-sur-Mer is a small famous for ship-building trade in France. It is situated in the south eastern portion of the country. It is a municipality in the Var subdivision at the base of Cape Sicie. The district in which this town falls is Provence Alpes-Côte d’Azur. The city is in fact famous for having one of the most excellent yards for shipbuilding in the Europe. It is in fact the major source of income for the local people. Also tourism is a major economic activity in the city. The city is known for the Osiris class nuclear reactors of Iraq that were built here. These reactors were destroyed by Israel in Operation Opera. An area of around 22.17sq.km is covered by the city for its expansion. It overlooks the Toulon bay and the open sea. The city is in fact famous for fishing and sea surfers.
