La Crau can be found between the Mounts Faron and Coundon in the west and the Maures Mountains in the east. Geographically, the town extends out on to the southern alluvial plains. La Crau is home to a contrasting feature that defines the natural diversity of the area. Wooded hills and vineyard valleys lie to the north of the town. Plains with flowers and vegetables lie to the south of the town. The entire area is well irrigated by the River Gapeau. The banks of this river are perfect for growing vegetables and fruits. The town has wonderful holiday rentals.
