Chateaudouble is village that lies in the VAR region of the Province of Alpes Cote d’Azur region of the south-eastern France. The village covers a small geographic area of the VAR department i.e. 40.91 sq.km. The village derives its name from the two castles that lies in the village. Hence the word Chateaudouble means “Two castles”. One of the castle is located on the bank of the Naturby River and the other one is on the top of the village. You will find the local inhabitants speaking French.
