Besse-sur-Issole is a community in the Var subdivision in the south-eastern France. It is located in the Provence-Alpes-Cote-d Azur area of the country. It is spread over an area of 37.19sq.km. The visitors to the city are welcomed by cool oasis in summers. It is due to natural 4 hectare lake. On the lake, people enjoy fishing, walking etc. Also the valley of Issole or Mont St Quinis gives an excellent and panoramic view to the visitors in the city. There are narrow and paved streets in the centre of the village. There are fountains as well that enhance the natural beauty of the city. The city is also known for its pre revolutionary hero named Gaspard deBesse. He was in fact a gentleman thief who helped the poor. He used to steal money from the rich and gave it to the poor.
