Aups is a small town in south-eastern France. It is located in the Var subdivision of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur area. The city is located at a height of around 500m above sea level. The location of the city is unique as it is situated in the first foothills of the Alps. It is a nice place to spend vacations and living attributed to its lovely Mediterranean climate. The city was named as the Capital of Haut-Var and Capital of the truffle. Also it became a part of the Parc naturel régional du Verdon in 2000. The city is known for its pictorial beauty and greenery all around. The city covers an area of 64.15sq.km for its expansion. There are fountains and massive plane trees throughout the city. Also there are houses from 16th and 17th centuries in the city.
