Spread over an area of 82.77sq.km, Ampus is a small village in the south-eastern France. It is typically located in the Var district of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur area. The village is situated on the top of a hill and is at a distance of around 14kms from Draguignan. It is located at a height of around 600m above the sea level. There is abundance of olive, mushroom and lavender plants in the city. Also you can find honey and cheese abundantly in the village. There are wooded hills, gorges and rivers in and around Ampus. All these impart a lovely view to the city. It is truly a charming village that allows you to enjoy each and every moment in a tranquil atmosphere.
