Lolland Falster refers to the two islands that are situated in Denmark. Both these are assembled with each other by tradition. Only a narrow canal divides these two islands. Otherwise these are identical to each other in numbers of ways. Lolland is the 4th largest island of the country. It is a part of the Zealand Region. It is positioned in the Baltic Sea. Owing to its flatness, it is also referred to as the ‘pancake island’. Falster Island is also located in the Baltic Sea in the south-eastern part of the country.
