Ratlam is an area situated in the north west part of Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh and was established in June 1948. It was later rearranged in the year 1949. Ratlam has a decent market for gold and silver gems with Chandi Chowk being the prime region of offer of gold and silver ornaments. Ratlam has a large number of tourist attractions as well as a number of temples.
