Santaella's historical and cultural heritage consists of La Leona de Santaella, Posada de la Plaza Mayor, Ermita del Santo Cristo de la Vera Cruz, Casa de la Cultura, Castillo y Murallas, Santuario Nuestra Señora Virgen del Valle, and Iglesia de la Asunción. The surrounding nature allows for beautiful scenic walks around the Ruta de las Fuentes and Ruta Patrimonia.
