The majestic muncipality of Oria, Almeria sits on the Almanzora Valley within the Sierra de las Estancias. There's a vast land full of fields of cereals, olive, and almond trees ready for cultivation. Agriculture is one of Oria's economic sectors. Oria's historical and cultural heritage consists of Castillo de Oria, Basílica de Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes, and just outside the municipality are Los Cerricos and Museum of Music by Roy Fox. The municipality is also home to many archaeological remains that historians and archeologists find fascinating.
