Aspe is a small town in the province of Alicante. It covers a total geographical area of 70.9 sq.km. Aspe is situated about 25 kilometres on the Vinalopo river. The municipality is known for the special kind of grapes it grows. These grapes are eaten in the midnight on the occasion of New Year all over the country. The people eat grapes all at once and celebrate the New Year. Spanish is the official language of the town Aspe.
