Bornos is one of the towns in Cadiz with the broadest horizons, and its sparkling conventional whitewashed houses. Its old town has been proclaimed Property of Cultural Interest.The town of Bornos is situated in the core of the farmland, on the banks of the Guadalete River, which widens here into a broad repository that is perfect for water sports. There are outstanding perspectives of the layout of the Sierra de Grazalema mountains on the inverse bank of the reservoir.The village has its own robust cuisine based on local produce. There is a mouth-watering asparagus soup called abajao and a variety of stews, especially the famous berza made with chickpeas and black pudding.
